Following are scans of a dark bronze, a smooth and shiny AR denarius and a shiny AV stater don on 3 different UMAX scanners as indicated. These are raw images done at 1200 dpi, using the Auto mode of the scanner software, without sharpening or post-scanning manipulation. The images are downsampled to 72 dpi and 300 pixels wide and saved as JPGs.
